This past year we have been involved with a group called Keepers at Home. I had looked into several different groups and the activities and premise of this group really interested the girls and I. Both of the girls love crafts, arts, and being with other girls. So...this group was perfect for us! The group met once a month (perfect!!) for 2 hours and we did all sorts of fun things together!
We learned how to make soap, bead jewelry, quilt (um...we gave it out best shot anyway!), build a circuit to learn electricity, become a Proverbs 31 girl...and much more! It has been a fun place to meet cute girls who love crafty things like we do.
At the end of the year, the girls received their sash and all the awards! They get a pin for all the sections that they finished, a star for their first year, and their Bible memory pin for memorizing Proverbs 31. They did GREAT! We also worked on some fun things at home and Timothy ministry too...so they were recognized for more pins.
We had a great ceremony and Dad was able to take a little while off work and come with us to see the girls' accomplishments. They did a slide show of all the fun times along with lots of yummy food. All the kids were able to bring something they did this year (not just in Keepers) for us to see. WOW...we have some creative and crafty girls:)
