Life School Musical

For the past several weeks the girls and I have been involved with our Wednesday night children's program called Ultimate Adventure. This is a time when the kids in grades 1-5 learn about leading worship and what worship actually is. They are now working on an awesome musical called "Life School Musical". It is really one of the best musicals that I have every heard! It has tons of scripture and is all about sharing Christ with those around you in your daily life.

I have had the opportunity to help out and to enjoy being with the kids group...and my girls too! We have been blasting the music in our car every day and even Jay is heard humming the songs around the house! Both girls will be trying out for parts today...so we are super excited about that!

Another neat thing we have been doing on Wednesday nights at church, is meeting before all the activities for a church-wide prayer time. Now, this isn't your usual church prayer time! We meet in the worship center and we sing a few songs and then we gather together at the altar for guided prayer.

Right now our church is ending 40 days of prayer and fasting. So, these prayer times have been so very sweet. We pray for brokenness, forgiveness, revival, awakening, etc. We have prayed alone, in small groups, and have had testimonies shared. We have taken our girls every week and just praying together at the altar has been powerful. The prayer time lasts around 30 minutes totaled and the girls are involved the whole time! It has been great for them to be a part of this time devoted to prayer. We are so blessed to be a part of Noonday...we just love it!
